Panty of the Day: Daphine

21 Feb

Oops, where did the day go? Here I am, on the tail-end of a long holiday weekend, and no panty-of-the-day post to be had!  Its been a busy & productive day.  Besides taking care of some chores around the house (and in the checkbook), I was fortunate enough today to find time for a relaxing bubble bath and get a massage from a dear friend who is gathering up practice hours for her Therapy license. I also fed my body delicious (and madly healthy) juice, a huge spinach salad, and chicken sauteed with rainbow chard. I’m sure you don’t give a hoot about what I ate, but its

Spring is such an exciting time in the lingerie world. All of the new collections are appearing on the scene, like so many rolls of fabric tumbling open, fluttering in the wind, all drama & sumptuousness! Make way, make way! There are new rompers & knickers for play!

Ayten Gasson’s new Spring collection is small but lovely, and quite true to their signature 1930’s gamine style with frosty new colors that are perfect for the fairer seasons.  Celadon greens, deep-fushia, midnight black, blush pink, and cream silks round out the collection of intriguing garments.  Perhaps more stunning is the lace work, which itself comes with an interesting and historical twist, being supplied by “one of the last remaining lace makers in Nottingham, Roger Watson, who supplied lace for both Diana Princess of Wales and Sarah Ferguson’s wedding dresses.”

Don’t these make you just want to lay in bed all day long, weaving flowers into crowns and reading Emily Bronte?

PS.  Don’t miss Ayten Gasson’s clearance sale for a chance to scoop up last season’s beautiful offerings.  I’ve been coveting the Liberty tap pant and matching bra.  Hmmmmm…..spring fling?

Until next time my dears!

xoxo,
